Field Service Technician

Titletown Machine Repair is growing. We have a full-time opening for a qualified candidate to repair CNC machines and assemble machines for local engineering companies. The ideal candidate will be proficient and knowledgeable in identifying problems and providing corrective actions in repairing a variety of CNC machines.

Hours are first shift Monday through Friday, with paid hourly travel to the customer’s facility and back. Overtime is available after 40 hours per week. Pay range is $20 to $30+ per hour depending on qualifications. Benefits include 401(k) with match, quarterly profit sharing, paid time off, health insurance, and a health reimbursement account (HRA) for dental and vision.

Ideal applicants should have experience with electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting, CNC maintenance and mechanical maintenance.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of technical training in electronics, mechanical or machine assembly
• In-depth knowledge of the machine tool industry

Skills:

• Read and understand engineering drawings
• Work on your own or in a group while completing tasks
• Understand PLC
• Hydraulic/pneumatic circuits
• General computer ability
• Lift up to 50 lbs. or more on a periodic basis
• Sound writing, reporting and personal communication
• Utilize test equipment for troubleshooting (indicators, test bars, gauges)
