Welding and Fabrication Expertise Elevates Titletown Manufacturing’s Value

Industrial Customers and OEMs Value Titletown Manufacturing’s Versatility

GREEN BAY, Wisconsin – Industrial customers count on the welding and fabrication expertise of Titletown Manufacturing for a wide range of machined parts and components to keep their businesses operating on schedule.

Titletown Manufacturing’s ability to perform a variety of welding and fabrication tasks in-house minimizes turnaround times and enables the Green Bay, Wisconsin, machine shop to meet short lead times as well as just-in-time supply responsibilities.

“The fact we are a one-stop shop for most fabrication functions provides an efficient delivery model for our customers,” said Titletown Manufacturing co-owner Dan Hilliard.

In addition to traditional MIG (metal inert gas) wire welding, Titletown Manufacturing uses TIG (tungsten inert gas) welding techniques for more precise operations, especially those on thinner materials.

“We’re able to weld and fabricate stainless steel, aluminum and carbon steel into various shapes, forms and sizes,” said Titletown Manufacturing co-owner Chris Fuss. “It allows us to combine various pieces of metal rather than just using solid stock.”

Titletown Manufacturing uses a wide range of materials in its fabrication operations, including mild steel, aluminum, plastic, brass, bronze, hardened alloy and stainless steels up to RC 65. The company leverages CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machining technology, including a horizontal milling machine, to produce parts within .0001 tolerance.

“We have the ability to produce parts for OEMs ranging from one-quarter inch to 19 inches in diameter, and one-half inch to 80 inches in length,” Fuss said. “This versatility is a valued asset for our OEM customers.”

Horizontal Milling Machine Capabilities Boost Efficiency

Titletown Manufacturing’s Rotating Table Enables Technicians to Minimize Spindle Downtime

GREEN BAY, Wisconsin – Fast and accurate are the ideal attributes in any manufacturing setting, and that is the case with Titletown Manufacturing, a leading provider of custom CNC machining. Titletown Manufacturing uses horizontal milling machines to fashion parts at production-level speeds, enabling technicians to efficiently supply a wide range of industrial customers.

The machine’s attached pallet changer gives Titletown Manufacturing’s technicians the ability to open of a set of access doors opposite the active tool and prepare a new part. With the click of a button, the pallet changer then rotates into place for the machining process to continue.

“The horizontal milling machine gives us the ability to do 100- and 200-piece runs much faster than conventional milling machines,” said Titletown Manufacturing co-owner Dan Hilliard. “It’s large enough to keep several jobs set up at one time without having to take tooling in and out.”

The rotating table and enclosed workspace maximizes the amount of time the machine’s spindle turns without needing to stop. It can handle projects with dimensions as large as 31 inches tall, 41 inches wide and 34 inches deep.

“The horizontal milling machine is one of many in our shop that utilizes custom CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machining technology to produce parts within .0001 tolerance,” said Titletown Manufacturing co-owner Chris Fuss.
