Titletown Manufacturing Offers Versatility in Machining Metal Parts

Mazak Equipment Powers Quality Consistency

GREEN BAY, Wisconsin – Titletown Manufacturing relies on the consistent performance of Mazak Corporation equipment in machining metal parts for customers throughout Wisconsin and the Midwest. The Green Bay, Wisconsin-based company has the capability of machining parts in a variety of materials, sizes and in quantities ranging from small runs to production runs.

“Running Mazak equipment gives our machinists the ability to move between machines without missing a step,” said Titletown Manufacturing co-owner Chris Fuss. “The programming is the same on every machine, which allows us to maximize efficiencies in the shop and deliver jobs quicker to our customers.”

Technology Enhances Precision Production Capabilities

Titletown Manufacturing’s CNC (Computer Numerical Control) technology enables machining of turned parts up to 19 inches in diameter and 80 inches in length. Titletown has the capability of producing vertical milled parts as large as 24 x 70 inches and horizontal milled parts up to 40 x 40 inches. The Mazak machines handle an assortment of materials, including steel, stainless steel, aluminum, plastic, brass, bronze and others.

“Our machines are so versatile that they create a fast, efficient shop environment,” said Titletown Manufacturing co-owner Dan Hilliard. “That allows us to offer competitive pricing on production-run jobs as well as small quantity parts that are typical of many of our customers.”

Titletown Manufacturing’s shop supervisor uses Mazacam and Mastercam offline software to create programs for new parts. The company’s machinists are trained to make adjustments to programs as needed on each machine.

“It can be inefficient if machinists don’t know how to alter programs effectively,” Fuss said. “Our employees can make tweaks because they understand how to get the most out of our equipment.”
